Lifelong learning, dignity and social paths for women over 65.
WINGS+ is a transnational adult-education partnership across Germany, Italy, Türkiye, Poland and Slovenia. Together we are building tools, learning kits and policy guidelines that fight gender ageism and put older women back at the centre of European civic life.

Why WINGS+
Ageing in Europe is feminised — and our learning systems still rarely notice.
Women aged 65+ make up a fast-growing share of the EU population, yet remain largely invisible in mainstream adult-education offers. WINGS+ treats this as a design problem — and rebuilds the offer with them, not just for them.

"Wisdom isn't a stage of life. It's a resource our societies keep underusing."
WINGS+ manifesto
Across Europe
10 good practices we've learned from.
From the Universities of the Third Age to Italian grandmother-led digital literacy and Slovenia's third-age research network, WINGS+ stands on the shoulders of a rich European tradition. We've selected ten practices that point the way forward.
